To My Dearest Readers,
Hello, my beautiful lovelies! On this day of warmth and affection, I want to celebrate not just romance, but the kind of love that defies fate, braves the darkness, and shines even in the darkest reaches of the Night World. The love that survives curses, battles monsters–both real and within–and always finds its way back home.
Whether you believe in silver cord-bound soulmates written in the stars or passion that is forged in fire, may you cherish the magic of a connection that feels like destiny.
After all, love is the most powerful magic of all. It can enchant a witch, tame a vampire’s hunger, or turn even the darkest curse into a second chance of redemption. It is the force that binds souls across lifetimes and lights the way even in the shadow of midnight.
Thank you for sharing your hearts with my stories. Wishing you a Valentine’s Day filled with light, passion, sentiment, and perhaps just a touch of the supernatural. As a Valentine’s Day gift for my readers, the excerpt from my first novel for grown-ups, Lullaby will be posted on the site today. Along with a special song I commissioned, from Simon Eugene Music, called “Gather Here.”
By the way, due to my recent sojourn in the hospital (here is a picture of my poor arm after they were done with IVs), everything is delayed on the site by a month. The contest in particular has an extra month to run. It will now run until March 17.

Did you know that in Japan, Valentine’s Day is a day when girls and women only give chocolate to the boys and men? The males give chocolate a month later on White Day to the females! It was a brilliant marketing ploy, doubling the sales of chocolate!
Thanks for reading this far! Until next month, my lovelies!
With love and enchantment,
Lisa
